Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is one of the most misunderstood concepts. The fact is, SEO is an incredibly important factor in good web design, but is much easier than most people would lead you to believe.
SEO is not something you buy or think about after designing your site! A properly designed site incorporates basic SEO principles into every page in a common sense way. DO NOT pay anyone big bucks to optimize your site for the search engines! Although there are some legitimate SEO Firms that may be able to benefit your site's search engine traffic over a period of time, many of these firms do little or nothing other than state the obvious.
During the design process we will be asking you for some information regarding keywords and terms that are important to your business. We will ensure that these keywords are incorporated into your overall site, including meta tags, alt image tags, and optimized text and links. This very basic optimization is generally enough to get you reasonably indexed in the major search engines. Indexing in general is something that takes time, so your results should improve over the course of time.
